Bond Timber wins WPA Award

Bond Timber, based in Devon and Cornwall, are proud winners of the Treated Timber Trader of the Year award at the recent inaugural UK Wood Protection Association (WPA) industry awards event.

The award was presented to Shaun Getson of Bond Timber by Tony Kelly, business director of the award sponsors Arch Timber Protection.

Steve Young, director of the WPA commented that Bond Timber are not only were committed to producing quality treated timbers to suit their various markets but are also proactive in educating their audiences about the need for quality treatments to help make the most of timber. Bond has recently held fencing forums for their farming and fencing contractor customers as well as going into local schools to promote the general benefits of timber.

Shaun Getson praised the hard work of all his Bond colleagues in offering a high performance end product and a focused and responsive service to their customers.
